Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing

Yeshua warned us that there will be many that come in His name but are in fact in opposition to who and what He is. There are the obvious oppositions to Yeshua such as public proclaiming devil worshippers, Buddhists, Muslims, etc,. His warning was not pointed towards those that are open about their rejection of Him, His warning was about those who proclaim to follow Him but are in fact ravenous wolves. You can find this warning in Yeshuas famous sermon on the mount in mattew 7:15.

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves”.

In the context of the New Testament and the New Covenant, prophets are people chosen to pass on the message of Yeshua and the Way to Salvation.

False prophets are everywhere, they are not only the Joel Olsten’s that are hiding under the cover of Yeshua in order to obtain fame and riches. False prophets can be your everyday people who spread their way not Yeshuas Way and ultimately lead people to eternal ruin. False prophets also come in packages of being covered in the seal of Christianity. The most recent for me is a false prophet by the name of C.S Lewis.

C.S. Lewis has a very long list of novels and a very large following. Just a simple search of his name brings you to a number of fan clubs and hundreds of Christian groups that recommend and talk about his material. Even spending time within a Baptist church, Lewis’s novels were on display in the churches library.

Growing up I was gifted a book set of the Chronicles of Narnia. Everyone said how great it is and the author is Christian so it is safe and accepted. Of course I loved the story line, who doesn’t love disappearing in a well written fantasy! As an adult I stumbled across the Screwtape letter which really opened up my eyes to just how far the devil and the demons go in order to lead man to hell. Being a fan of his work I started acquiring some of his novels planning to read them. I attempted to read a few such as the problem With Pain and mere Christianity. However I would always stop as it seemed to much of mans intellect over divinely gifted knowledge or an inspired fantasy.

Just recently I had come across a video of a lecture by John Todd. The lecture was Johns testimony of turning to Yeshua and how He led John out of the occult. You can listen to the recording below. I’m not going to get into all the details of the recording as there is ALOT of exposing of the occult and witchcraft that is so prevalent in the U.S today. John had mentioned C.S Lewis and how he was in Fact in no way a Christian. Of course hearing that one needs to investigate if there is a lie that you believe. What was found is that C.SLewis was in the hermetic order of the golden dawn, a secret society who practices the occult such as kabbalah, astrology, tarot, astral travel and more. uh oh. We have a wolf in sheeps clothing, exactly what Yeshua was warning us about. Examining some of His writings especially in Narania you can see some glorification of occult practices. You have half goat beings, you have witch craft, summoning etc.

I came across a preacher that I’m not well versed so not backing all his teachings, however he goes over in 4 sermons in great detail why C.S Lewis’s works should not be read. Since this man has done all of the work to acquire this information I will not go in to any other details but recommend you listen to his sermons linked below.

If you were once an admirer of C.SLewis I recommend you look inside and find out why. For me I admired his writing ability and imagination. Come to find out it was all derived from the occult. remember that the devil and the demons know the bible very well, they will mix truth with lies in order to pull you into rebelling as satan is doing. It was just a few days prior that I had asked for any deception to be removed. Low and behold a video pops up that points out an idol within my heart. I have since repented and acting on this revelation and walk.

Remember that straight is the gate and narrow is the way that leads to life….it literally is straight as a board and narrower then your body. When you walk on that straight path, crookedness is corrected and you are pressed like a lemon wherein all of the juice is bad and not good for consumption. Yehsua and the Set Apart Spirit work very hard on this path of cleaning us up. Don’t be lazy and question all old beliefs, 98% of them are lies.
