We have recently taken up an interest in eliminating as much processed food as possible, with a goal of only needing to buy items that there is no way to make. One of those items is raw milk. Obviously we would have a way to acquire raw milk if we had a cow, however at this moment in time it is not possible to properly house a cow nor have adequate field for grazing. We were referred to a local Mennonite farm who sells raw milk ,butter, yogurt, sour cream and cheese. We made a stance to stop buying milk from the big box stores and buy it from a neighbor regardless of the extra trip needed to go pick it up.  Anyone who buys raw milk knows that once the gallon of milk sits for a couple of hours all of the fat in the milk will float to the top.

Since we are on this path of trying to  eliminate processed foods, one of our constant purchases is butter. Store bought butter typically has coloring and a form of preservative, yuck.  I’m sure everyone knows butter is made from milk fat. We decided to try making butter, however did not want to invest in a churn yet nor use electronics. So we got a large mason jar and separated the milk from the fat and shook it and shook it and shook it some more. It really seems like the butter never forms. You end up walking away and coming back to it over and over, even putting the jar  in the fridge for the next days shaking. Eventually you start to see separation of the fat and form taking place. Well, you keep shaking and more and more butter begins to form in the jar. Yay, Finally butter!

This morning it came to us how similar the process of separating the butter from the milk is to the Narrow Way. You start with milk, all shaken up, it looks like one consistent product. As it sits in the fridge two sides form, a type of wheat and chaff. The top part (the fat) or the wheat, or we could say YOU, the one being SET APART, is taken from the original product ( the World) and placed somewhere to be  SHAKEN. You are separated from  that which you were once ONE. Once separated you are Shaken and shaken  and shaken some more. This shaking is a process Yeshua does with us to help rid of us of the world that is within us. A shaking to form the butter. Every shaking You become closer and closer to that product goal of butter which is Him, Yeshua, free from the contaminants of the world.

In the original gallon of milk that was shook up we have a product that is mixed. You have a very desired butter that is spread throughout a lesser desired milk. When milk is pasteurized it is similar to a form of witch craft in the sense that there is a forcing of the liquid and the fat to stay in one consistency. Pasteurized milk does not typically separate, even when you buy the whole milk. This is the same condition with believers and unbelievers in the world.

So you’ve got the wheat and the chaff forced together under a spell.  In milk that has not had a spell cast on it, will natural separation, the fats from the liquids, they do not like to combine. Witchcraft is a form of practice that combines that which is to be separated and therefore is deemed an abomination. Two unequal yokes cannot mix nor should you sup with an unbeliever (1 cor 5:11) Oil and water will naturally separate.  You are either for Yeshua (a believer) or against Him ( an unbeliever). ALL of the unbelievers actively practice witchcraft and work towards pasteurizing ( casting spells, knowingly or unknowing) all the milk, meaning the believers and unbelievers. WE as believers are called to be set Apart, we are called to be the sought after butter in the gallon of milk.

As you are on the the Narrow Way you will go through many of a shakings. Your beliefs will be challenged and you will begin to question more and more of what you think you know about yourself. Without the shaking, true observation of what your surroundings are and your internal structure spiritually may not take place. WE tend to get comfortable with the world. We have worked our job for our comforts and strive to retire. This is NOT the purpose of time on this earth. WE need to and MUST SEEK THE FATHER WITH ALL OF OUR HEART MIND AND BEING in order to LOVE Yahweh and Love our neighbor as Yeshua has commanded. The next time you feel like you are in a jar and you are being shaken, stop and look towards the Father through His son and search for what They are trying to show you. Realize that the shaking is them loving you and that they desire for you to be reconciled with them.

This article is not claiming that if you drink pasteurized milk that you are going to hell……In Revelation 21:8, those who practice “magic arts” (often translated as “witchcraft” or “sorcery”) are listed among those who will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur, which is described as the “second death”. 

What is being imparted in this article is the way of the narrow way, what it feels like and how to get through the narrow way successfully.
